Men's Golf Atop CCAA Preseason Coaches Poll and Ranked No. 18 Nationally
The defense of a CCAA Championship for Cal State East Bay Men's Golf begins Monday in the Wildcat Classic in Marysville, California. As defending CCAA Champions from 2024-25, the Pioneers were picked at the top of the CCAA Preseason Coaches Poll with six first place votes among coaches in the conference.
Alan Sue, last season's CCAA Coach of the Year, brings back multiple golfers from the championship lineup, including two who were named to the CCAA Preseason Watchlist - juniors Oscar Blomqvist and 2025 CCAA Medalist Cooper Groshart.
In addition to the Pioneers top ranking in the CCAA Preseason Poll, East Bay enters the season ranked No. 18 nationally in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll.
