Black at the Bay Day plays a pivotal role in fostering a profound sense of belonging and empowerment within our current Black students, recruiting Black students from our local community, and fostering connections to the East Bay campus. The one-day program is exclusively tailored for Black students, families and community partners from local community colleges, k-12 schools, and community organizations to gain firsthand insights of Cal State East Bay (EB), as well as connect with the specialized programs here to support our Black students, such as the Sankofa Scholars Program and the Black Student Success Center.
