This event will be a preview of the annual Care 2 College event hosted by the Renaissance Scholars Program and Chabot College. The Profession Development will provide an overview of the workshops and resources provided at the Care 2 College event.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, join us for Courageous Conversations: Asking for and Acting on Feedback in Our Journey—a meaningful dialogue exploring the role of feedback in personal and professional growth. This session will spotlight the courage it takes to seek out feedback, truly listen, and take action—especially within the context of our unique cultural experiences. Through shared stories and practical strategies, we’ll celebrate the strength, resilience, and openness that define our journeys and empower us to grow. Whether you're navigating new challenges, building relationships, or striving for excellence, this event offers a space to reflect, learn, and connect.   Asking for and Acting on Feedback  Feedback is essential for career growth, but cultural norms can sometimes make this difficult. Participants will gain tools to: Overcome hesitation around feedback Use feedback to enhance performance and leadership effectiveness Demonstrate initiative and improve two-way communication Build stronger, more trusting relationships across teams

This workshop is meant to educate students on how to manage, budget and save money as a college student.

This will be the 2nd annual HSI summit with a presentation, keynote speaker, student panel, and break out sessions.

Undocu Summit

Each year, the Cal State Student Association (CSSA) staff selects campus locations to host our in-person plenary meetings. Staff takes into account campus programs and initiatives that may align with CSSA’s policy agenda as well as balancing geographic locations. Through a partnership with the host campus’ Associated Students organization, CSSA hosts its meetings for several committees and the Board of Directors.
