The 2025-26 athletic year is quickly approaching for Cal State East Bay, and with it comes 14 Pioneer teams in action with the first contest taking place on Thursday, September 4.

In 2024-25, the academic year once again was outstanding for many Cal State East Bay student-athletes and teams.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The 2024-25 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award Winners were announced last week by the CCAA. From Cal State East Bay, the two recipients of the award for 2024-25 are Jasmin Krishna from women's golf and Mia Jordan from women's volleyball. The Charnofsky Award recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves in the classroom and in their sport.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - With the 2024-25 athletic year complete in NCAA Division II, the CCAA announced its final standings for the year for the Robert J. Hiegert Commissioner's Cup. Since joining the CCAA, Cal State East Bay had its highest finish in department history, placing fourth among the 12 CCAA member institutions.

The 2024-25 athletic year for Cal State East Bay was memorable and BOLD! And the spring season brought so many outstanding feats individually and for the teams in season. While track & field and baseball had some outstanding moments and accomplishments in the spring, the Pioneer Spotlight will focus on the men's golf, women's golf and softball.
