DAY ONE RECAP: Women's Track & Field at CCAA Championships

TURLOCK, Calif. - At Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium on Thursday, the first day of the 2025 CCAA Track & Field Championships presented by Pollo Campero took place. Cal State East Bay women's track & field competed in multiple field events as well as qualifying heats on the track.

  • The only points collected for the Pioneers were off of a seventh place finish in the pole vault by Katarina Muellerleile, as she cleared 3.20 meters.
  • Madison Gomez qualified for the finals of the 1,500 meters after she finished her preliminary heat in 4:48.01. The finals for the event will take place Saturday afternoon.
  • Although her preliminary heat time was not fast enough to reach the finals among a deep CCAA group of sprinters, Destini Clinton ran her fastest 100 meter time this season in 12.77 seconds.

Friday marks the second day of the 2025 CCAA Track & Field Championships from Turlock. Notable events that have entries from Cal State East Bay women's track & field include the triple jump and the 800 meters.
