With Cal State East Bay Athletics' new mantra as BE BOLD, a bold, new look is now available for your viewing pleasure at EastBayPioneers.com.
Some new features include a tile layout of the most recent stories about Pioneer Athletics, a horizontal all-sport schedule ribbon that includes the latest results and the nearest upcoming event (by all sports or sport-specific on a sport page), simplified navigation menus and more opportunities for businesses to partner with East Bay and advertise.

Hiegert Commissioner's Cup. Since joining the CCAA, Cal State East Bay had its highest finish in department history, placing fourth among the 12 CCAA member institutions.
- Announcing the 2024-25 Cal State East Bay Athletic AwardsOn Sunday evening inside Pioneer Gymnasium, Cal State East Bay hosted its Pioneer Athletic Awards Banquet, for the first time named 'The Pios'. The Pioneers turned in several standout performances, including one individual conference title and personal bests on the field and track. In total, the Pioneers' medal count included a gold and a bronze medal.

A former Division I swimmer at the University of Arkansas and a proud inductee into the Sequim (Washington) Hall of Fame's inaugural class for her swimming accomplishments, Dr. Jackson brought with her not only an impressive academic background but a deeply personal connection to the student-athlete journey.
