SAN FRANCISCO — Cal State East Bay men's track and field capped its 2025 regular season with a strong showing at the Johnny Mathis Invitational, finishing second among 13 scoring teams over two days at Cox Stadium. The Pioneers delivered standout performances across both track and field events, highlighted by a sweep in the top-three for high jump and multiple field event victories.

The Pioneer Spotlight this week shines on two outstanding jumpers who represent the Cal State East Bay Track & Field programs - Benjamin Chang and Julia Carmona.

The final home softball series takes place this week, along with a home baseball series, the track teams go to separate meets and next Monday through Wednesday, both golf teams will compete for a CCAA Championship in Santa Barbara.
