Pioneer Men's Basketball Drops Saturday Afternoon Game to CUI
HAYWARD, Calif. — Concordia University Irvine dominated Cal State East Bay men's basketball in a non-conference matchup Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 74-55 victory at Pioneer Gymnasium.

The Golden Eagles took control early, breaking a 7-7 tie with a decisive 12-0 run. They never looked back, building their lead to as much as 24 points and maintaining a double-digit advantage throughout the second half.
Despite a more competitive second half where Cal State East Bay outscored Concordia 36-32, the early deficit proved too much to overcome. The Pioneers showed signs of life late in the game, but the Golden Eagles' lead was insurmountable.
