Five Pioneers Named CSCAA All-Americans

RICHMOND, Va. – After the 2024 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships, six members of Cal State East Bay women's swimming were named either a first or second team CSCAA All-American for their specific performances in the championship meet.
 
Below are the honorees from Cal State East Bay in their respective events.

  • Kylie Beaudet – 2nd team – 200 yard breaststroke
  • Delaney Carlson – 2nd team – 400 yard freestyle relay, 200 yard freestyle relay
  • Brooklyn Dressel – 2nd team – 400 yard freestyle relay, 200 yard freestyle relay
  • Tehani Kong – 1st team – 100 yard butterfly; 2nd team – 50 yard freestyle, 400 yard freestyle relay, 200 yard freestyle relay
  • Olivia Parham – 2nd team – 400 yard freestyle relay, 200 yard freestyle relay

For Beaudet, it was her second CSCAA All-American honor as she was a second team recipient in 2023 for the 400 yard individual medley.
 
For Carlson, Dressel and Parham, 2024 marks the third year in a row each has received at least one CSCAA All-American honor.
 
In just her first season with the Pioneers, Kong received four All-American honors.
 
CSCAA All-Americans in Division II are determined by their finish at the NCAA Championships, as the student-athlete must compete in the finals of their event to be eligible for All-American recognition.
