Women's  Basketball

This coming week of action for the Pioneers includes a pair of road games for each basketball team, a two-day home series for baseball, hosting a tournament for women's golf, men's golf starting its spring schedule in Stockton and the first meet of 2026 for both Pioneer track & field teams.

CHICO, Calif. — On Saturday afternoon at Art Acker Gymnasium, Cal State East Bay fell behind early and couldn't fully climb back, dropping a 65-55 decision to Chico State. The Pioneers cut the margin to single digits late, but an early double-digit deficit and a tough shooting night proved too much to overcome as East Bay absorbed its fourth straight setback while staying in the hunt for a CCAA tournament berth.

ARCATA, Calif. — On a difficult Thursday evening at Lumberjack Arena, Cal State East Bay fell 101-63 to Cal Poly Humboldt as early scoring runs by the Lumberjacks set the tone and the Pioneers could not fully recover despite stretches of strong play.

HAYWARD, Calif. — Playing at Pioneer Gymnasium on Saturday evening, Cal State East Bay fell to Cal State Dominguez Hills, 93-76, in a CCAA matchup that kept both teams locked in a three-way tie for fifth place in the conference standings. The Toros used late first-half separation and sustained momentum into the fourth quarter to pull away, despite a determined third-quarter push by the Pioneers.
