Pioneer Athletics Announces Exciting Alumni Weekend Celebration
HAYWARD, Calif. — Cal State East Bay Athletics is thrilled to invite alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to its highly anticipated Pioneer Alumni Weekend, from October 17-19, 2024. This year's event promises to be a memorable celebration of our athletic department's vibrant community and its ongoing legacy of excellence.
Pioneer Alumni Weekend will feature a Pioneer lineup of activities, including:
Thursday, October 17th:
- Welcome BBQ - Pioneer Stadium, 4p.m. - 7 p.m.
- Alumni Men's Soccer Game vs. SF State - Pioneer Stadium, 4:30 p.m.
- Volleyball Alumni Game vs. Cal State Monterey Bay - Pioneer Gymnasium - 5 p.m.
- Women's Soccer Alumni Game vs. SF State - Pioneer Stadium, 7 p.m.
- Game Honoree - 2024 HOF inductee, Kulwant Singh
Friday, October 18th:
- Softball Scrimmage & Bites - Pioneer Softball Field, 12 p.m.
- Celebrating the 2024 HOF inductees - 1999-2000 Softball Team
- OFFICIAL WELCOME BACK ALUMNI MIXER - Zen Garden, 4 p.m.
- Men's Basketball Alumni Dinner - Pioneer Gymnasium, 6 p.m.
- Celebrating 2024 HOF inductee, Lorenzo Hall
Saturday, October 19th:
- Baseball Intrasquad Scrimmage - Pioneer Baseball Field, 9 a.m.
- Coffee & Donuts with the team
- Hall of Fame Inductee Reception - Pioneer Gymnasium, 4 p.m.
- Hall of Fame Mixer – Pioneer Gymnasium - 5 p.m.
- Hall of Fame Ceremony - Pioneer Gymnasium - 6 p.m.
2024 Hall of Fame Inductee Honorees include: 1999-2000 Cal State East Bay Softball Team, Lorenzo Hall - Men's Basketball ('86-'90), Dorie Krepton - Women's Gymnastics Coach ('71-'85), Bob Olsen - Men's Track & Field ('76-'79), Kulwant Singh - Women's Soccer Assistant Coach ('83-'90)
All alumni are FREE of charge for games, BBQ's and mixers.
