DAY TWO RECAP: Women's Track & Field at CCAA Championships
TURLOCK, Calif. - The second day of the 2025 CCAA Track & Field Championships presented by Pollo Campero took place Friday at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium. Cal State East Bay women's track & field had one runner advance to Saturday's final after winning her preliminary heat. But the ultimate highlight of the day was a silver medal in the triple jump.
- In her first CCAA Championship meet, Julia Carmona earned the silver medal in the triple jump with a mark of 11.85 meters, setting a personal record.
- Jenna Rodriguez won her preliminary heat in the 800 meters, finishing in 2:16.35. She advances to Saturday's 800 meter final.
Saturday is the final day of the 2025 CCAA Track & Field Championships presented by Pollo Campero. The first event of the day is set for 11 a.m. from Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium. Several Pioneers will compete in track final events and one is entered for a field event. East Bay will have athletes compete in the 1,500 meters, 800 meters, 5,000 meters, 4x400 meter relay and the high jump.
