Announcing the 2024-25 Cal State East Bay Athletic Awards
On Sunday evening inside Pioneer Gymnasium, Cal State East Bay hosted its Pioneer Athletic Awards Banquet, for the first time named 'The Pios'. Student-athletes from Cal State East Bay were honored for athletic, academic and community impact. Men's soccer goalkeeper and 2024-25 SAAC President Kelekolio Mateo Jr. was the emcee for the special event.

- Fajardo, Clemens Earn PCSC Weekly Honors after Dominant Slug ShootoutHAYWARD, Calif. — Cal State East Bay women's swimming continued its strong early-season momentum as Lexi Fajardo and Maggie Clemens each took home Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference (PCSC) weekly awards following standout performances at the Slug Shootout in Santa Cruz.
- Pioneers Capture Team Title at Slug ShootoutSANTA CRUZ, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's swim team turned in a fantastic all-around performance at the Slug Shootout, capturing the team title with multiple event wins and top-three finishes at the East Field House Pool. The Pioneers outpaced the competition with 972.5 total points, edging out UC Santa Cruz (954.5) and Azusa Pacific (880) to secure the win.
- Pioneer Spotlight Alumni Edition: Miranda McDonnellWhen Miranda McDonnell arrived at Cal State East Bay, she never imagined how deeply the experience would shape her life. From her first practice as a Pioneer to hoisting the conference championship trophy in 2019, every moment—on and off the pool deck—became part of the foundation for the person she is today.
- Pioneers Compete at Nevada Dual MeetRENO, Nev. — The Cal State East Bay women's swim team turned in a strong effort against NCAA Division I opponent Nevada, earning several runner-up finishes and an event win despite falling 174–67 in the team standings.
- Pioneer Swimming Opens 2025-26 Season in Dual Meet with PacificHAYWARD, Calif. – The Cal State East Bay women's swim team turned in a strong showing against the University of the Pacific in their first meet of the 2025-26 season. The Pioneers shined with multiple event victories and standout relay performances but ultimately fell 147.5–114.5. EB will be back in action on October 4 when they head to Reno for a dual meet with Nevada.
