FINAL RECAP: Pioneer Men’s Golf at Hanny Stanislaus Invitational
TURLOCK, Calif. – The final round of the 2024 Hanny Stanislaus Invitational took place Tuesday from Turlock Golf & Country Club. Cal State East Bay men's golf was tied for seventh place in team scoring among 15 teams.
- Adam Brangefalt finished in a 12th place tie as the lowest scorer among the Pioneers at 3-under-par 213. He had a team-high 15 birdies among the 54 holes played.
- Finishing at 2-under-par 214 was Easton Hether, in a 16th place tie on the leaderboard.
- With two eagles throughout the tournament was Ryan Hong.
Cal State Monterey Bay won the team competition. And through 54 holes, Simon Bjorken from CSUMB and Tyler Ashman from Chico State were tied atop the leaderboard at 11-under-par 205. Ashman was the tournament medalist by way of winning a playoff hole.
One regular season tournament remains on the Pioneers' schedule, set for April 8-9. Cal State East Bay will compete in the RJGA Palm Valley Classic, at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona.
