Pioneer Preview - January 1-7
As 2025 begins, the Cal State East Bay basketball schedule resumes following the winter break with a pair of CCAA home games for each Pioneer team this week. Also resuming is the 2024-25 season for Cal State East Bay swimming, who will compete next Tuesday in a dual meet at San Diego State.
Saturday's basketball doubleheader in Hayward will be $2 Community Night with tickets sold online for $2 general admission.

The Pioneers will look to bounce back after an overtime loss on December 22 to SF State. They host CSUSM and Sonoma State as part of a six-game homestand bridging 2024 and 2025.

The No. 15 Pioneers will look for a strong January starting with Tuesday's dual meet at San Diego State. It will be the first of four dual meets in January for the Pioneers.

- Pioneers Compete at Nevada Dual MeetRENO, Nev. — The Cal State East Bay women's swim team turned in a strong effort against NCAA Division I opponent Nevada, earning several runner-up finishes and an event win despite falling 174–67 in the team standings.
