DAY ONE RECAP: Pioneer Women’s Golf at WT Desert Invite
TUCSON, Ariz. – The first 18 holes of the WT Desert Invite were played Monday at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon. Cal State East Bay women's golf sits in a three-way tie for third place in team scoring after one round.
- Monday's lowest score for Cal State East Bay was 75 from Julika Grosspietsch. She had three birdies among the 18 holes played.
- Mandi Granato and Alma Garcia are tied for 20th on the leaderboard at 5-over-par 77.
- With 11 even par holes each were Granato and Jasmin Krishna.
Oklahoma Christian leads in team scoring after one round and Yuliana Yapur from Texas A&M International sits atop the leaderboard at 3-under-par 69.
The second round of the WT Desert Invite tees off Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start from The Lodge at Ventana Canyon.
