DAY ONE RECAP: Men's Golf at CCAA Championships
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The first round of the 2025 CCAA Men's Golf Championships presented by Under Armour teed off Monday at Sandpiper Golf Club. After 18 holes played on the par 72, 7,003-yard course, Cal State East Bay men's golf sits in second place among the eight teams competing for the title. After one round, the Pioneers are in second place for team scoring.
- Oscar Blomqvist had Monday's lowest score among the Pioneers, carding a 71, currently third on the leaderboard. He had three birdies.
- With an even par 72 was Cooper Groshart, finishing the day with four birdies.
- Easton Hether sits in the top-10 on the leaderboard, tied for ninth at 1-over-par 73 with three birdies.
- Also with four birdies on Monday from East Bay was Peyton Hendricks.
Cal State Monterey Bay leads the team scoring after one round. Wilhelm Berg Von Linde from CSUMB and Naoki Easterday are tied atop the leaderboard at 2-under-par 70.
Round two of the CCAA Men's Golf Championships tees off starting at 9:30 a.m. from Sandpiper Golf Club. The first golfer of the day to tee off from CSUEB is Ananjan Kaushik, with a 10:25 a.m. tee time.
