DAY TWO RECAP: Men's Golf at CCAA Championships
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Tuesday marked the second round of the 2025 CCAA Golf Championships presented by Under Armour at Sandpiper Golf Club. Cal State East Bay men's golf sits in second place following 36 holes played throughout Monday and Tuesday.
- Among the Pioneers entered in the tournament, Cooper Groshart had Tuesday's lowest score of 73, which puts him in a second place tie on the leaderboard heading into the final round with an overall score of 1-over-par 145. Groshart had four birdies in the second round and his eight total birdies is tied for second most among the field.
- Sitting tied for fourth on the leaderboard is Oscar Blomqvist, who carded a 75 on Tuesday and is currently 2-over-par 146.
- Also in the top-10 for East Bay is Easton Hether, alone in eighth place at 4-over-par 148. Hether also had four birdies in the second round.
Cal State Monterey Bay leads the team scoring heading into the final round. Atop the leaderboard is Wilhelm Berg Von Linde from CSUMB at 1-under-par 143.
The final round of the 2025 CCAA Golf Championships presented by Under Armour is scheduled for a start of 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday from Sandpiper Golf Club. The first golfer to tee off representing CSUEB (Ananjan Kaushik) has a set tee time of 8:25 a.m.
