Pioneers Win Fifth in a Row; Climb Into 6th in CCAA Standings
CARSON, Calif. - The Cal State East Bay women's volleyball team continued its hot streak Saturday evening, sweeping Cal State Dominguez Hills in CCAA action, 3-0 (25-20, 25-11, 25-17) at The Torodome. The victory marks the Pioneers' fifth consecutive win, their longest winning streak of the season.

The Pioneers dominated from the start, setting the tone with a 25-20 first set win. Coco Ikpe delivered a kill to win set point, giving the Pioneers a 1-0 lead.
East Bay's momentum surged in the second set, jumping out to a quick 6-0 lead, ultimately overwhelming the Toros with a commanding 25-11 performance. Fane Paua had the kill to win set point in the Pioneers' dominant set.
The final set saw Cal State East Bay maintain control, closing out the match with a 25-17 win to secure the sweep.
