Jasmin Krishna Named CCAA Women's Golfer of the Week
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - For the fourth time in her outstanding golf career at Cal State East Bay, Jasmin Krishna was named CCAA Women's Golfer of the Week (Sept. 11-17) following her performance on the course earlier this week in the RJGA Shootout at Estrella.
As the Pioneers opened the 2024-25 season, Krishna finished in a third place tie at +3 (147), highlighted by a second round score of 70 in Tuesday's second round at Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona. Of the 36 holes played throughout Monday and Tuesday, Krishna made five birdies with four of them on Tuesday. Krishna's second round run also help lift the Pioneers into a second place tie in team scoring.
Krishna's weekly honor from the conference is the fourth of her career. In 2021-22, she earned the accolade twice, and once in 2023-24.
The Pioneers next take to the links on September 30-October 1 in the WT Regional Preview in Amarillo, Texas.
