The initiative will kick off with the API Summit hosted by the API Student Success that will engage students and ignite continual opportunities. During the API Summit we will promote the AANHPI Leadership Series hosted by Student Leadership and Involvement Center formerly known as Student Life and Leadership Programs which will host a series of 5 workshops. Each of these workshops will focus on cultural leadership, identity, and empowerment and students who attend 4 out of the 5 workshops will be honored with a certificate for completing the series. In this series, students will be creating cultural leadership presentations that will be featured in the MOTION program hosted by PIAA. PIAA will be hosting two events: MOTION in the fall focused on a larger group of generally interested students, and a target program focused on students who may be attending East Bay and are wanting additional support through PIAA.
