- Mar 18:00 AMBlack at the BayBlack at the Bay Day plays a pivotal role in fostering a profound sense of belonging and empowerment within our current Black students, recruiting Black students from our local community, and fostering connections to the East Bay campus. The one-day program is exclusively tailored for Black students, families and community partners from local community colleges, k-12 schools, and community organizations to gain firsthand insights of Cal State East Bay (EB), as well as connect with the specialized programs here to support our Black students, such as the Sankofa Scholars Program and the Black Student Success Center. Additionally, students can connect with one another, see themselves within current EB students, alumni, and families can connect with faculty and staff who are dedicated to nurturing their journey and ensuring their success throughout their time at East Bay.
