Umoja day a day for community college students to learn about CSU East Bay programs that support African American/Black students.

Join us at the Government and Public Service Career and Internship Fair, where you can explore a wide range of career and internship opportunities in government agencies, non-profits, and public service organizations. This event is designed to connect you with employers committed to community service, policy-making, public administration, and social justice. Event Highlights: Networking Opportunities: Meet representatives from local, state, and federal government agencies, non-profit organizations, and public service entities looking to hire passionate and dedicated individuals. Diverse Employers: Engage with a variety of employers offering roles in public administration, policy analysis, social work, law enforcement, public health, urban planning, and more. Who Should Attend: Students majoring in political science, public administration, social work, public health, criminal justice, environmental studies, and other related fields. Recent graduates seeking full-time positions in government and public service. Professionals looking for career advancement or a transition into the public sector. Employers seeking qualified candidates for roles in public administration, policy, social services, and other public service areas. Date: March 13, 2025 Time: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Location: New Student Union, MPR Registration: Students and employers can register through the Handshake platform. Early registration is encouraged as spaces are limited. Preparation: Students are advised to bring multiple copies of their resumes and dress professionally.
