The Intergroup Training of faculty and staff will center around social justice education, to blend theory and experiential learning in order to facilitate students' learning about social group identity, social inequality, and intergroup relations. The training will prepare faculty and staff to better prepare students to live and work in a diverse world and educate them in making choices that advance equity and justice.

The 3rd Annual Collective Counter-Storytelling Creations is an annual showcase that features 2nd year doctoral students from the Educational Leadership in Social Justice Program. This is the culminating event of their class, Critical Race Methodologies in Education. On this night, students perform a featured piece from their counter-story writing portfolio in front of their peers, faculty, family, and friends. This is a night of celebration that showcases the power of the word, justice, and community. ASL Interpreting will be provided

International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. To celebrate IEW, the Internationa Programs is hosting a series of events during the week. The final event on Thursday, 11/21 includes cultural fashion show, global expo, and international student appreciation lunch.
