ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The 2024 All-CCAA Men's Soccer All-Conference individual awards were announced on Wednesday. Three members of the Cal State East Bay men's soccer program were named All-CCAA Honorable Mention, including Drew Gibbons, Alan Gutierrez and Eugenio Perez-Vera Merino.

Cal State East Bay hosts the men's soccer tournament, while the Pioneer women's soccer team heads to Arcata for the CCAA Women's Soccer Tournament. The second week of the basketball season takes place. And volleyball controls its own destiny in terms of reaching the CCAA Tournament.

CHICO, Calif. - In a historic moment for the program to open the 2024 CCAA Men's Soccer Tournament presented by FloCollege, the No. 6 seed Cal State East Bay men's soccer team secured its first-ever CCAA postseason victory with a 1-0 win over No. 3 seed Chico State on Sunday. The triumph at University Soccer Stadium in Chico marked a significant milestone for the Pioneers since joining the CCAA in 2009.

SAN MARCOS, Calif. - The Cal State East Bay men's soccer team has reached the CCAA Tournament for the first time since becoming a conference member in 2009. Heading into the day, a win or a tie would be enough for the Pioneers to clinch a postseason berth. This week's Pioneer Spotlight shines on Eugenio Perez-Vera Merino from Cal State East Bay men's soccer. With over 1,200 minutes on the pitch this season, Perez-Vera Merino has started all 14 matches in his first season with the Pioneers. He has scored two goals on the season as the Pioneers make one last chase for a spot in the CCAA Tournament with three regular season matches remaining.

Friday and Saturday mark the first two home meets for women's swimming in 2024-25, both against Simon Fraser. For swimming, it will be Alumni Weekend.
