FINAL RECAP: Cal State East Bay at NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – Cal State East Bay women's swimming competed on the final day of the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday from IU Natatorium. The season for the Pioneers concluded with a pair of top-15 finishes in the nation in Saturday's events.

  • Brooklyn Dressel qualified for the consolation finals of the 100 yard freestyle. And in her final individual event of her outstanding Pioneer swimming career, she placed 14th in the nation with a finals time of 50.31 seconds.
  • Capping off the women's swimming events was the 400 yard freestyle relay. The team of Dressel, Alexia Fajardo, Delaney Carlson and Tehani Kong placed 12th with a time of 3:23.42.

The Pioneers finished the NCAA Championship meet with 45 points for 21st place among 39 teams who had qualifying swimmers.
