Tehani Kong, from Cal State East Bay women's swimming, was named Pioneer of the Month for March 2024. She earned the monthly honor for the second time during her freshman season at Cal State East Bay.
- In the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships, Kong's most notable performance placed her eighth overall in the nation for the 100 yard butterfly. She was a First Team All-American by virtue of an eighth place finish in the 100 yard butterfly, setting a new Pioneer record of 54.33 seconds.
- She was also a CSCAA All-American with a 10th place finish in the 50 yard freestyle.
- Kong was on the 400 yard freestyle relay team and the 200 yard freestyle relay team that competed at the NCAA Championships, and was named a CSCAA Second Team All-American in the two relays.
