Pioneer Preview: Sept. 24-30
In the final week of action in September, one new season starts, and others continue action for the fall season.
- The action begins Wednesday afternoon when men's soccer hosts Westmont for a fixture at Chabot College and take to the road on Sunday in Irvine.
- Women's volleyball split last week's opening action in conference play and will look to carry Saturday night's win toward a road trip in Southern California.
- The new season starts Friday for women's swimming, hosting a dual meet in Hayward against Pacific.
- Both cross country teams resume action on the course this season with a meet in Oregon on Saturday.
- On Sunday, women's soccer will look for a win against the defending national champions, Cal Poly Pomona, on home field.
- Men's golf heads south of the border to a three day tournament in Mexico at PGA Riviera Maya.
