Mika Sayfurahman Named Pixellot/CCAA Offensive Player of the Week for Second Straight Week
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - On Tuesday, the CCAA announced its weekly awards for women's soccer. For a second consecutive week, Mika Sayfurahman from Cal State East Bay was named Pixellot/CCAA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from October 23-29.
In the two most recent matches for the Pioneers, Sayfurahman scored two goals, including her sixth of the season on Friday at Cal Poly Pomona and a penalty kick on Sunday at Cal State San Bernardino.
Heading into the regular season finale on Thursday, Sayfurahman has a team-high seven goals which is tied for second most in the CCAA this season. Her three assists in 2023 puts her at 17 points on the season, which also is a team-high.
The 2023 regular season finale takes place on Thursday when the Pioneers host Cal State San Marcos at 2 p.m. from Pioneer Stadium.
