DAY ONE RECAP: Pioneer Women's Golf at NCAA West Regional
STOCKTON, Calif. – Cal State East Bay women's golf played the first round of the NCAA Division II West Regional on Monday at Brookside Golf & Country Club. The Pioneers finished the day with a 1-under-par team score which placed them in third after 18 holes..
- Julika Grosspietsch and Jasmin Krishna each shot a 1-under-par 71 to lead the Pioneers on the day and are currently tied for ninth on the leaderboard. Grosspitesch had an eagle on hole #4 along with two birdies. Krishna had three birdies.
- Alma Garcia shot an even par 72 as she is tied her for 13th.
- Mandi Granato shot a 1-over-par 73 on Monday ad had three birdies.
Dallas Baptist leads the team competition through one round and Sofia Benavides of Oklahoma Christian leads the individual competition at 5-under-par 67
The NCAA Division II Wpmen's Golf West Regional continues on Tuesday from Brookside Golf & Country Club with the first tee time scheduled for 8 a.m. Cal State East Bay's first tee time is scheduled for 8:55 a.m. on hole #10.
