Grosspietsch and Granato Earn All-CCAA Honors
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The CCAA announced its 2023-24 All-Conference honors for women's golf on Monday. Cal State East Bay senior Julika Grosspietsch made the team and senior Mandi Granato was named All-CCAA Honorable Mention.
Grosspietsch made the All-CCAA Team for the first time in her career. Her average score per round in the regular season was 74.7 and is ranked No. 74 nationally. She finished in the top 35 in 10 of the 11 tournaments she played in. She also finished in the top-15 in five of the six spring tournaments the Pioneers played in. Her best finish of the season was at the Patriot Invitational where she finished second and was named CCAA Women's Golfer of the Week for the performance. With a fourth place finish in the CCAA Championships last week, she was on the All-Tournament team.
Granato was named an All-CCAA Honorable Mention selection. She averaged a score of 76.4 and finished in the top-50 in nine of the 10 tournaments that she played in. Her best finish of the season was at the
CSUSM Fujikura Invitational where she finished tied for fifth on the leaderboard. She also finished 10th in the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout.
The Pioneers will get ready for the NCAA Division II West Regional on May 6-8 in Stockton, California at Brookside Golf & Country Club.
