DAY ONE RECAP: Pioneer Women’s Golf at RJGA Palm Valley Classic

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The first round of the RJGA Palm Valley Classic teed off Friday from Palm Valley Golf Club. Cal State East Bay women's golf sits in a 16^th place tie among 20 teams through 18 holes.

Mandi Granato and Carlota Eroles each finished the first round at 5-over-par 77 with two birdies each.
Alma Garcia carded a 6-over-par 78 on Friday.

West Texas A&M leads the team scoring and Anna Nomrowski from WTAMU sits atop the leaderboard at 6-under-par 66.

The final round of the regular season for the Pioneers is set for Saturday from Palm Valley Golf Club with the first tee time scheduled for 7 a.m.

Pioneer Women’s Golf Moves On To NCAA Championships
STOCKTON, Calif. – The final round of the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf West Regional wrapped up Wednesday at Brookside Golf & Country Club. Cal State East Bay finished with a team score of 876, tied for third in team scoring. With a third place tie, the Pioneers advance to the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf National Championships for a second straight year.

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced on Monday the 48 teams to qualify for the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships in addition to 24 individual golfers not on teams selected.
Grosspietsch and Granato Earn All-CCAA Honors
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The CCAA announced its 2023-24 All-Conference honors for women's golf on Monday. Cal State East Bay senior Julika Grosspietsch made the team and senior Mandi Granato was named All-CCAA Honorable Mention.
