POSTGAME QUOTES |
Cal State East Bay head coach Claire Sua-Amundson following Wednesday's elimination game victory:
"Yeah I'm really proud of how we came out and competed, especially at the plate offensively. We were ready to go. We had a game plan going in of what we were going to do depending on what pitcher we saw and I was really happy with our hitters and how we stuck to our approach. We stayed aggressive and really stayed true to who we are as a team, so I couldn't be prouder of obviously the win, but all in all just how we competed as a team today."
Cal State East Bay pitcher Marissa Quintero about her first postseason tournament experience:
"I took it as like a learning experience because I've never experienced it in collegiate softball before and so I was just really taking it all in and just playing my best that I could out there and just leaving it all out on the field."
UP NEXT FOR CAL STATE EAST BAY |

First pitch from CSUSM Softball Field is set for 10:30 a.m. The game to follow for the Pioneers depends on the outcome of the matchup with the Seawolves.
