MEET RECAP: Men's Track & Field at Fresno State Invitational to Close Regular Season
FRESNO/CLOVIS, Calif. – The final regular season meet for Cal State East Bay men's track & field took place Friday and Saturday in the Fresno State Invitational. Below are the most notable performances by the Pioneers throughout the meet.
- Jared Giles ran a personal best time of 22.40 seconds in the 200 meters.
- The fastest finisher for CSUEB in the 400 meters, placing 14th overall, was Kamron Smith with a personal best time of 50.17 seconds.
- Jaalam Jones cleared 1.81 meters in the high jump, his personal highest mark, placing seventh.
- Throwing for his personal best mark of 11.24 meters in the shot put was Edgar Martinez.
With the 2024 regular season concluded, the Pioneers will next compete in the 2024 CCAA Championships, which takes place from May 2-4 from Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium in Turlock on the campus of Stanislaus State. Entries for the Pioneers along with event times will be available once the meet approaches.
