PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - The 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships teed off Monday from PGA National Golf Club. After 18 holes of action on a par 72, 7,074-yard course, Cal State East Bay sits in 18th place among 20 teams.
- Easton Hether and Cooper Groshart are tied for 36th on the leaderboard with the Pioneers' two lowest scored in the first round of +1 (73).
- Hether and Oscar Blomqvist each had three birdies in the opening round.
St. Mary's (Texas) currently holds the lowest team score among the field, combining for 9-under-par. Atop the individual leaderboard through one round is Bennett McNabb from Lee University, carding a 6-under-par 66 in on Monday.
Round two of stroke play in the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Eastern time (4:30 a.m. Pacific). Cal State East Bay's first tee time is set for 10:15 a.m. Eastern time (Peyton Hendricks).
