Both cross country teams head across they Bay to run in Golden Gate Park at the SF State Invitational, volleyball plays a pair of matches in Southern California and both soccer teams host a match on Friday and Sunday in Hayward. Men's golf will also look to continue their excellent fall season on Monday and Tuesday in the Otter Invitational after two team tournament wins.

Only two regular season meets remain for the Pioneers, both in the Bay Area. After three meets, Cole McKain has led the charge as the top runner for Cal State East Bay in each meet this season. On September 28 in the Cougar Challenge, McKain reached a personal best 8k time of 24:57.4.

Abigail Kern scored a late goal in the conference opener last Friday to break a scoreless tie on the road at Cal Poly Humboldt, leading to a 1-0 win. However, the Pioneers were unable to find the net on Sunday at Sonoma State. They will look to get back on the winning track Friday evening when they host No. 2 Cal Poly Pomona. East Bay then hosts Cal State San Bernardino on Sunday.
