ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - With the 2024-25 athletic year complete in NCAA Division II, the CCAA announced its final standings for the year for the Robert J. Hiegert Commissioner's Cup. Since joining the CCAA, Cal State East Bay had its highest finish in department history, placing fourth among the 12 CCAA member institutions.

When Dr. Summer Jackson stepped into the role of Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) at Cal State East Bay in 2023, it was more than a professional milestone—it was a full-circle moment. A former Division I swimmer at the University of Arkansas and a proud inductee into the Sequim (Washington) Hall of Fame's inaugural class for her swimming accomplishments, Dr. Jackson brought with her not only an impressive academic background but a deeply personal connection to the student-athlete journey.

HAYWARD, Calif. – Cal State East Bay Athletics announces a new partnership with Gameday Logistics for management of team travel arrangements starting with the 2025-26 athletic year. The partnership agreement is in effect for the next three years.

The Pioneer Spotlight this week will focus on two special stories among Cal State East Bay Athletics that took place during the winter sports seasons. In men's basketball, the spotlight will be on the journey of the program toward the 300-win milestone for head coach Bryan Rooney as well as the experience from the perspective of a student-athlete. The spotlight will also shine on women's swimming, who has had repeated individual and relay success, setting new Pioneer records, PCSC medals and competitors qualifying for the NCAA Championships.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The 2024-25 All-CCAA Awards were announced for men's basketball on Tuesday. From Cal State East Bay, Tyree Campbell and Beril Kabamba were named All-CCAA Second Team, and Ramsey Huff was named All-CCAA Honorable Mention.
