FINAL RECAP: Regular Season Wraps Up for Pioneer Men’s Golf
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The 2023-24 regular season wrapped up on Tuesday at Palm Valley Golf Club for Cal State East Bay men's golf. The Pioneers placed fourth in the RJGA Palm Valley Classic among the 19 teams entered.
- Easton Hether carded a 68 on Tuesday in the third round, as he finished 5-under-par 211 (74-69-68), tied for 17th on the leaderboard. He had six birdies in the final round.
- At a finish of 3-under-par 213 was Adam Brangefalt for a 29th place tie.
- Brangefalt and Hether each had 13 birdies among the 54 holes played in the tournament.
- The 2023-24 regular season for the Pioneers has concluded with two first place team finishes and eight team finishes in the top four.
Colorado Christian won the team competition for the RJGA Palm Valley Classic, while the first place finisher on the leaderboard was Adam Niles from Western New Mexico.
From April 22-24, the Pioneers will compete in the 2024 CCAA Men's Golf Championships presented by Under Armour, which takes place at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club.

Two members from Cal State East Bay men's golf received notable recognition, including Adam Brangefalt and Easton Hether. Brangefalt was named CCAA Freshman of the Year and Hether was named to the All-CCAA Team.
- Pioneer Men's Golf Selected for Upcoming NCAA South Central/West RegionalINDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced on Friday the 80 teams and 32 individual student-athletes who were selected to compete in their respective regionals for the 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships. Cal State East Bay men's golf received an at-large bid to play in the South Central/West Regional on May 9-11. The regional tournament will take place at New Mexico State University Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
