OVERVIEW AND NOTES |
Cal State East Bay hosts Chico State at Pioneer Baseball Field for the final home series of the season, which starts Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.
The Pioneers went 1-3 last weekend at Cal State San Bernardino with the lone win coming in the second game of the series.
Before Sunday's home finale, 10 players from Cal State East Bay baseball will be honored in the Senior Day Ceremony including Sam Gilliam, Brenden Bell, Donovan Bailey, Garrison Finck, Niko Mollat, Tristin Tatum, Matthew Mandeville, Luke Novitske and Matthew O'Mahony.

O'Mahony leads the Pioneers in batting average (.369), at-bats (141) and RBIs (37).
Mollat is seventh on the Pioneers in batting average (.235) and at-bats (102). He scored a pair of runs in the series opener at CSUSB.
Gilliam hit two home runs in the series at CSUSB and had three RBIs.
