This coming week of action for the Pioneers includes the home opener for softball on Wednesday and a weekend tournament in Tracy, the final week of regular season action for each basketball team, a home baseball series and men's golf returning to Boulder Creek for the second time this season.

HAYWARD, Calif. — On a sun-splashed Sunday at Pioneer Baseball Field, Cal State East Bay split its doubleheader with Central Washington, falling 7-5 in the opener before responding with a crisp and authoritative 4-1 victory in the seven-inning finale. The day featured explosive offensive bursts, momentum-swinging miscues, and a dominant complete-game performance to close the series.

HAYWARD, Calif. — Under partly cloudy skies at Pioneer Baseball Field on Saturday, Cal State East Bay delivered a commanding sweep of Central Washington, taking the opener 9-2 and the seven-inning nightcap 12-5. Behind explosive run production, precision pitching, and surging individual performances, the Pioneers (5-4) secured their first home win of the season and followed it with a resilient comeback that electrified the home crowd.

This coming week of action for the Pioneers includes a pair of road games for each basketball team, a two-day home series for baseball, hosting a tournament for women's golf, men's golf starting its spring schedule in Stockton and the first meet of 2026 for both Pioneer track & field teams.
