Cal State East Bay Women's Golf Awarded NCAA West Regional Berth

INDIANAPOLIS - After finishing third in the CCAA Women's Golf Championships presented by Under Armour, Cal State East Bay women's golf has been awarded an at-large bid for the upcoming 2025 NCAA Division II West Regionals. The regional tournament takes place May 5-7 at Tasocsa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas. The Pioneers will be competing in the West Regional for the fourth straight year.

East Bay holds the No. 10 seed in the West Region. The three-day tournament includes 18 teams and six individuals on teams not selected. For the West Region, the top five teams, in addition to two individuals on non-advancing teams in the 54-hole competition, reach to the NCAA Championships the following week.

The past two seasons, East Bay has advanced to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships following the West Regional. In 2022, one individual golfer from CSUEB, Drishti Karumbaya, reached the NCAA Women's Golf Championships.
