ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – After a historic 2025 season in which Cal State East Bay softball won its first-ever CCAA regular season title, the All-CCAA honors followed just days later for seven Pioneers. Four were named to the First Team, one to the Second Team and two named Honorable Mention. The CCAA Pitcher of the Year and CCAA Coach of the Year were also from Cal State East Bay.
 
ALL-CCAA FIRST TEAM
 

A consistent offensive power throughout the season, Farias's impact was quickly noticed as she started her Pioneer career on a six game-hitting streak. She was named to the Concordia Kickoff Classic All-Tournament Team after going 7-for-10 in the tournament with a double, triple and a home run. In the final home game of 2025, she went 3-for-5. Farias finished the season with nine doubles, a triple and a pair of home runs.
 

Garcia, a four-year regular starter for the Pioneers, was named to the All-CCAA First Team for the third straight year. Over her career, she has climbed the Pioneer record books in several offensive categories. She is second in program history for triples (20), third for runs scored (134), hits (206) and stolen bases (55) and fourth in RBIs (111), tied for fourth in home runs (22) and fifth in doubles (42). Her .362 batting average was eighth highest in the CCAA, 13 doubles was tied for fifth most and .577 slugging percentage was sixth in the conference.
 

CCAA Pitcher of the Year
Quintero was the conference leader in earned run average at 1.20 and held opponents to a .193 batting average. She finished the regular season 18-3. Three times she was named FloCollege/CCAA Pitcher of the Week, including the final two weeks of the regular season. She finished the season with 91 strikeouts, seven complete game shutouts and pitched a no-hitter on March 14 at CSUSB. In 2024, she was an All-CCAA First Team Selection and CCAA Freshman of the Year.
 

Toy was versatile playing regularly in the outfield and in the circle, starting every game this season at one position or the other. At the plate, she had a .341 batting average with 21 RBIs, 13 doubles and a triple. As a pitcher, she had a no-hitter on March 20 at Cal Poly Humboldt on her way to being named FloSports/CCAA Pitcher of the Week. Her 1.82 earned run average was second lowest in the CCAA, just behind her teammate, and she went 13-5 on the season with 97 strikeouts. This season, in addition to her weekly CCAA honor, she was on the Concordia Kickoff Classic All-Tournament Team. In 2024, she was an All-CCAA Honorable Mention selection.
 
ALL-CCAA SECOND TEAM
 

Zumstein added some spark to the Pioneer lineup, primarily as a designated player with a .295 batting average, 27 RBIs, nine doubles and five home runs. Her most notable single game performance was on March 1 at CSUDH, going 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs.
 
ALL-CCAA HONORABLE MENTION
 

Starting regularly at third base, Cortez hit .347 on the season, second highest on the team with three doubles, a triple and a home run. She went 2-for-4 in the season opener with three RBIs. Cortez is on a five-game hitting streak ending the regular season as the streak could be extended into the postseason.
 

Porto started 30 games this season and finished with a .301 batting average. On April 5, Porto went 3-for-4 against Cal State Monterey Bay with two RBIs and a run scored.
 
In addition to the seven Pioneer players to receive postseason honors from the CCAA, head coach Claire Sua-Amundson was named CCAA Coach of the Year.
 
The Pioneers made history by winning their first ever CCAA regular season championship and have an opportunity this week to chase a CCAA Tournament title.
