Pioneer Preview: Sept. 10-16
The second week of action is set to take place starting Thursday for women's volleyball, and Saturday for each soccer team. Cross Country takes to the course under the lights on Saturday in Ceres, and both East Bay golf teams tee off for the first time in 2025-26 on Monday.

The Pioneers look to bounce back after dropping three straight in Hawaii. Their toughest test during the week in the upcoming Gator Classic (hosted by SF State) will be on Friday against No. 6 Tampa.

The Pioneers will look to carry a dominant performance on Tuesday into Saturday's Senior Day matchup with Jessup. Prior to the match, 12 seniors on the women's soccer team will be honored. It will be the first meeting since 2008 between the Pioneers and Warriors.
East Bay's last outing was on Tuesday with a 3-0 victory over Hawai'i Pacific in the home opener. Morgan Pearson scored two goals in the win and Lexie Randolph had a goal and an assist as the Pioneers bounced back from going winless in their first two contests of the season.

The Pioneers split their first two matches of the season. After dropping the opener last Thursday, they bounced back on Saturday with a 3-2 win at Dominican (Calif.). Yuto Hatayama and Jonas Banouas each scored a goal in the win. East Bay will look to avenge a loss last season to FPU.

Expected to run on Saturday for the Pioneers are Dylan Baptista, Nicholas Bawardi, Eion Daley, John Funderburg, Joaquin McGee, Matthew Morgon, Brandon Simpson, Chris Valderrama and Mark Velazquez-Patino.
