Groshart and Hether Receive PING All-Region Honors

NORMAN, Okla. - Just days after clinching a spot in next week's 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships, Cooper Groshart and Easton Hether were named to the NCAA Division II PING All-West Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Cooper Groshart - So. - San Luis Obispo, Calif./San Luis Obispo

Leading the Pioneers to a CCAA Team Championship in April, Groshart also was the 2025 CCAA Individual Champion in the tournament. He had the second lowest score among the Pioneers at the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional (-7) for 15th place after 14 birdies and one eagle, contributing to the team's third place finish to clinch a place in the NCAA Men's Golf Championships.

Easton Hether - Jr. - Fairfield, Calif./Rodriguez HS

Hether was perhaps one of the most consistent Pioneer golfers in 2024-25. He had four top-five finishes, including being the medalist to open the 2025 spring season at the Nighthawk Invitational, which led him to be the co-recipient of the CCAA Men's Golfer of the Week. He placed second at the Hot Dirt Desert Shootout on March 21. At the CCAA Championships, his 12th place finish helped the Pioneers win the team title. In the NCAA Division II West/South Cental Regional, Hether's eighth place finish with 15 birdies and an eagle aided the Pioneers to a third place finish to reach the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2017. Additional postseason accolades for Hether include All-CCAA and Cal State East Bay Male Student-Athlete of the Year.

The Pioneers will compete next week in the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at PGA National Golf Club.
