This Week in Pioneer Athletics (Sept. 18-24)
This coming week in Pioneer Athletics includes action from men's and women's soccer along with women's volleyball. Men's soccer plays a pair of non-conference road matches, women's soccer plays its first two home matches of the season and volleyball opens CCAA action with a pair of home matches on the campus of Menlo College.
Please note that Friday and Saturday's matches at Menlo are home matches for East Bay Volleyball due to maintenance inside Pioneer Gymnasium this week.

Coming off a 2-1 win on Saturday, the Pioneers look to build on their victory with a pair of non-conference road matches this week, including one at Westmont and Finishing the week at Fresno Pacific. Leon Eisert netted a goal for the Pioneers, and Yuto Hatayama made a successful penalty kick that made the difference in last Saturday's win.

The Pioneers host their first two home matches of the season this week, starting Thursday evening against UC Merced. East Bay split a pair of non-conference road matches last week, and will look to get back on the winning track. A penalty kick goal from Morgan Keller with one second left in regulation lifted the Pioneers to a 2-1 win at Biola on Thursday. Other goal scorers for the Pioneers last week included Kella Folkerts, Gabby Rodil and Mika Sayfurahman.

CCAA action opens up for the Pioneers this week with two matches played at Menlo College. After dropping the opener in the Route 92 Volleyball Classic last week, East Bay took its next three matches in the tournament, looking to carry the momentum into the start of conference play.
