Pioneers Fall in National Quarterfinals, Cap Historic Season
The season of dreams for the Cal State East Bay Men's Basketball came to an end on Wednesday at the Elite 8. The Oklahoma Baptist Bisons came away with the 78-55 win at the UMPC Fieldhouse on the campus of Duquesne University.

This week, Men's Basketball starts the Elite 8 as the #2 seed. Softball and Baseball both resume CCAA play with series this weekend at home, with men's and women's track & field both competing at a pair of events this weekend.
Campbell Selected as Best Player in America
Days after the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) awarded Tyree Campbell with district honors, the accolades have been upgraded to the national level. Campbell was named the Division II National Player of the Year.
Rooney Named Nation’s Top Head Coach
The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has named head coach Bryan Rooney as the nation's top Division II men's basketball coach from the nearly 300 programs across the country. Rooney is the first winner of National Coach of the Year from Cal State East Bay and the first from the West Region since 2012.
All American Honors: Tyree Campbell
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Cal State East Bay men's basketball standout Tyree Campbell has been named to the 2025-26 NABC Division II All-America Team, as selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
