Three Pioneer Men's Golfers Receive All-CCAA Recognition

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Less than a week removed from winning the CCAA Men's Golf Championships presented by Under Armour, three members of the Cal State East Bay men's golf team garnered All-CCAA recognition. Oscar Blomqvist and Easton Hether were named All-CCAA and Ananjan Kaushik was named All-CCAA Honorable Mention.

Oscar Blomqvist - So. - Stocholm, Sweden/Bildningscentrum Facetten

Blomquist finished second at the CCAA Men's Golf Championships at even par 216 and was named to the CCAA Championships All-Tournament Team. He had two top-five finishes and four top-15 finishes in the 2024-25 season as he averaged 72.5 strokes-per-round.

Easton Hether - Jr. - Fairfield, Calif./Rodriguez HS

Hether was perhaps one of the most consistent Pioneer golfers in 2024-25. He had four top-five finishes, including being the medalist to open the 2025 spring season at the Nighthawk Invitational, which led him to be the co-recipient of the CCAA Men's Golfer of the Week. He placed second at the Hot Dirt Desert Shootout on March 21. At the CCAA Championships, his 12th place finish helped the Pioneers win the team title.

Ananjan Kaushik - Sr. - Bangalore, India/The Primus School

Kaushuk tied for second at the Otter Invitational this past fall and would be named FloCollege/CCAA Men's Golfer of the Week. Kaushik had four top-10 finishes in 2024-25.

Additionally, Cal State East Bay head golf coach Alan Sue was named CCAA Men's Golf Coach of the Year.

The Pioneers will next take to the course on May 8-10 in Riverside, California at Victoria Club for the 2025 NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional.
