TOURNAMENT RECAP: Women's Golf at CSUSM Fujikura Invitational
VISTA, Calif. – On Tuesday, the 2025 CSUSM Fujikura Invitational wrapped up from Shadowridge Golf Club. The Cal State East Bay women's golf team finished third among 14 teams in a two-day tournament.
- East Bay's lowest scorer overall was Sophia Tejeda, who finished in a fifth place tie at 5-over-par 221 (73-71-77) among a field of 77 golfers. She had a team-high nine birdies on 54 holes played.
- Jasmin Krishna had the lowest score in the third round for the Pioneers of 74, finishing tied for eighth place at 10-over-par 226 (75-77-74).
- Also finishing in the top-20 among East Bay golfers was Carlota Eroles, tied for 19th, finishing with a total of seven birdies.
Cal State San Marcos was the team champion, followed by Rollins, then the Pioneers in third. The tournament co-medalists were both from CSUSM – Regan Barton and Diana Delgado.
The Pioneers return to action next Monday and Tuesday in the Patriot Invitational (hosted by Dallas Baptist) at The Quail Golf Club in Carmel, California.
