Pioneer Preview: Sept. 24-30
In the final week of action in September, one new season starts, and others continue action for the fall season.
- The action begins Wednesday afternoon when men's soccer hosts Westmont for a fixture at Chabot College and take to the road on Sunday in Irvine.
- Women's volleyball split last week's opening action in conference play and will look to carry Saturday night's win toward a road trip in Southern California.
- The new season starts Friday for women's swimming, hosting a dual meet in Hayward against Pacific.
- Both cross country teams resume action on the course this season with a meet in Oregon on Saturday.
- On Sunday, women's soccer will look for a win against the defending national champions, Cal Poly Pomona, on home field.
- Men's golf heads south of the border to a three day tournament in Mexico at PGA Riviera Maya.

The 2025-26 season begins Friday from Pioneer Pool as Cal State East Bay hosts Pacific for a dual meet. The meet will include 14 events, bookended with relays.
The next morning, Pioneer Swimming Alumni will compete in the pool against East Bay starting at 10 a.m.

A rematch of the 2024 CCAA Championship Final, as the Pioneers have an opportunity to end a two-match losing streak and avenge a loss to the Broncos from last year's conference final. In last week's road trip, Mika Sayfurahman climbed the Pioneer record book scoring her 19th career goal.

The No. 16 Pioneers travel internationally to Mexico for the three day tournament near the Caribbean Sea and Cancun. To open the season, East Bay finished second in the Wildcat Classic with Nathaniel Frink, Adam Brangefalt and Peyton Hendricks tied for fourth on the leaderboard.
