Six Pioneers Garner All-CCAA Recognition
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The 2025 All-CCAA Baseball teams were announced Monday the conference. Six Pioneers received postseason recognition. Max Gonzales and Camron Grant were named to the All-CCAA First Team, Aidan Morton and Gabe Tanner were named to the Second Team, and Luke Brown and Jaylen Hodges were named All-CCAA Honorable Mention.
ALL-CCAA FIRST TEAM
Max Gonzales, Sr., P - Milpitas, Calif./Ohlone CollegeGonzales led the CCAA with the lowest earned run average among qualifying pitchers at 2.70 and had a 6-4 record on the mound. His 67 strikeouts in 80 innings pitched was sixth most in the CCAA. Gonzales was named CCAA Pitcher of the Week for March 31-April 6. For the same week, he was named NCBWA West Region Pitcher of the Week following a complete game five-hit shutout against Cal State LA.
Camron Grant, Sr., DH - San Bruno, Calif./Oklahoma BaptistWith a .360 batting average, Grant led the Pioneers in hitting. The season was highlighted by an 18-game hitting streak. He had four home runs in his one season as a Pioneer.
ALL-CCAA SECOND TEAM
Aidan Morton, Sr., INF - Fremont, Calif./Chabot CollegeMorton had a .357 batting average and led the Pioneer in doubles with 14. In two separate games, Morton had four hits.
Gabe Tanner, Sr., P - Danville, Calif./Chabot CollegeTanner led the CCAA in strikeouts with 76 in his 94 innings pitched. He finished with a 5-3 record and a 3.06 earned run average. Tanner was an All-CCAA First Team selection in his junior season.
ALL-CCAA HONORABLE MENTION
Luke Brown, Sr., OF - Cathlamet, Wash./Modesto JCWith seven home runs in 2025, Luke Brown led the Pioneers. He finished his career in the top-10 in several offensive categories in Pioneer history, including fourth in doubles and RBIs. As a sophomore in 2023, Brown was named All-CCAA Honorable Mention.
Jaylen Hodges, So., INF - Sacramento, Calif./C.K. McClatchy HSHodges is on an eight-game hitting streak in which he has made a plate appearance. The streak elevated his batting average to .339 and defensively, Hodges had a team-high 90 assists.

The Pioneers erupted for a 13-6 win in game one before falling in extra innings in game two, 3-1.

The Pioneers rallied twice in the late innings, capped by a two-run eighth that proved to be the difference in the CCAA matchup.
